Surya Nepal on Tuesday conferred the Surya Nepal Asha Social Entrepreneurship Award 2011 on five social entrepreneurs. Of the 66 applicants, the five winners were selected by a jury.
KATHMANDU, NOV 20 -
Surya Nepal will be awarding the Surya Nepal Asha Social Entrepreneurship Award 2011 to the five best social entrepreneurs among 66 applicants on Monday. The five winners will be selected for their inspiring endeavors by a jury based on a set criteria. They will receive their awards at a gala event to be held at the Hotel Yak & Yeti. The awards according to the company has been organised to reward the extraordinary work of social entrepreneurs.

Surya Nepal, one of the biggest multinational companies operating in the country, has announced that it would host ‘Asha Social Entrepreneurship Award-2011’ on November 21, to recognise the contribution of those who have been running enterprises for the social good.
